Myeong Ryun Jinsa Galbi Unlimited Korean BBQ.
Quality over quantity.
This is probably the best way for me to describe my Myeong Ryun Jinsa Galbi experience.
It’s an all-you-can-eat restaurant all the way from Seoul, Korea. It has over 500 branches in Korea and other parts of Asia, and this branch I went to in SM Annex is their 519th branch.
It has four meat selections:
1. Special Grilled Pork BBQ Galbi
2. Beef Bulgogi
3. Thin Sliced Pork Belly
4. Samgyupsal
Their signature galbi is my favorite. It’s marinated pork ribs, minus the bones. It’s sweet and tender. I ate it as is, without any sauce.
I also had the beef bulgogi without any sauce because it was sweet and savory on its own.
The thin and thick slices of plain pork tasted better when I added different sauces.
By the way, the sauces and side dishes are available at the self-service counter.
The Korean steamed egg is not unli. It’s served only once.
For the stews and drinks, you will have to pay for them separately.
If you want quality meat over quantity, then you’ll enjoy it here. But if you want more choices for the meat selection and sides, you may consider other options.
But for me, I was able to really taste the high standards they have for their meat.
