Try their Bicolano food (dishes popularized in Bicol Region) like Bicol Express and Laing.
Bicol Express is pork stew cooked with shrimp paste, coconut milk, chili, onion, and garlic. If you want this with more bite, you can mash the sliced chili and mix it in. But it’s already good.

Charlwel Lagmay owns Trenchers Kitchenette. He said the name Trenchers is a mix of his name and his wife’s name, Eterna. Tren comes from Eterna, with switched letters. Charlwel used to be called Chers when he worked abroad. Thus, Tren and Chers.

They began this business in 2010 selling snacks. Loyal clients asked them to serve short orders. They added and added and added to their menu until they grew it into a restaurant. They also grew their popularity and decided to open 24 hours a day for the whole week. They have an air-conditioned room and al fresco area.
